“Financial Planning can be complicated, but I simplify it.
We explore your financial landscape, discuss goals and create a
solid plan. Together, we create a foundation that works for
you today, tomorrow and for generations to come.”
Megan joined Lucien, Stirling and Gray in 2002, after
having been a client since 1997. During her tenure,
she has advised many businesses and individuals on
effective financial strategies. Megan’s
expertise includes:
- Business Owners and Self-Employed – Planning
for the future can include succession planning for
the business. It is also important to discuss
ways to incorporate time away from the business.
- Single, professional Women – Women have unique
planning issues, as they tend to live longer than
men yet earn less over their lifetimes. Proper
planning can provide long-term security.
- Families
with Children – Multi-generational
financial planning includes tips on talking to your
parents, spouse, children and grandchildren about
money. Your money should give you the freedom
to live a balanced life.
Megan’s clients consistently seek her counsel
because she is diligent about pointing out potential
landmines before they become problems. Her clients
know that Megan is focused on developing plans and
not on selling products. She advises them on multi-generational
planning that can impact their children, grandchildren,
other family members, and the community. She
helps to strike the right balance between living comfortably
now and preparing for financial freedom in the future. Megan
helps business owners to find the balance between reinvesting
in their business and investing for future personal
needs.
Prior to joining Lucien, Stirling and Gray, Megan
worked for Academic Software, Inc. as a member of the
leadership team. In this role she contributed
to the development of the infrastructure and strategy
until ASI’s acquisition. Megan grew up
in South Texas and attended Texas A&M University.
She has lived in Austin since 1994 and enjoys being
an active member of the community. Megan volunteers
for the Financial Literacy Coalition of Central Texas,
Race for the Cure and other organizations. Megan, her
husband Creed, and their daughter Carter enjoy the
Austin parks and can be spotted running and biking. She
obtained her private pilot's license in 1999 and enjoys
gardening.
Megan holds the NASD series 6, 63, 65 and 66 licenses
and is a licensed agent with the Texas Department of
Insurance.
